edgewater – tiles

If you are tired of the same old at all the tiling stores around town, check out Edgewater! After seeing them at the IDS yesterday, I knew I had to spread the word. The above two photos are their more simple patterns, which of course I adore! But they can do anything, with almost any material and for that special space, this is so worth it!! Very unique and alive with movement and interest. Check them out here.runner

Consider a runner for your bare floors almost anywhere! They are all the rage right now and there are so many to choose from. I love the ones at Kim Parker Home, and of course Company C and Madeline Weinrib!grunge look
Go here- click the ‘like’ button and have a look at the San Juan restaurant I stumbled upon – so cool!
pottery barn bar stools
Check out Pottery Barn‘s new swivel bar stool – oh so practical!! And classic styling too!!black blinds, black wall
I love the way the black blinds unify with the windows for a seamless almost invisible look. And the black wall behind the TV is so clever – it helps camouflage the TV and makes for great TV viewing (no distractions). What a ‘real’ space this is that feels so inviting!
simple beauty of white
Today I received my Country Living magazine. I get a lot of magazines, but I think this one is my favourite! And what a way to start the new year… The heading is The Simple Beauty of White. Nothing could be better than white – to me anyway – so I believe this is a sign for a good year to come!
I have yet to crack open the pages of this magazine that sits on my desk in front of me right now, but I wanted to first talk about the joy of just simply receiving the magazine.
I hope you find simple pleasures in life this year – this is definitely the thing that tickles my fancy!
