shabby chic kitchen
This is such an amazing kitchen. Not too shabby – more chic.
The lighting is so unique. Love the kitchen sink. The open shelving is so practical for everyday items. The ceiling height and large windows are amazing. Great contrast and texture. In other words…
This kitchen is awesome!
tiny texas houses
Tiny Texas Houses – that’s the name of this company that makes made-to-measure tiny houses from all recycled materials. Wow! So efficient and perfectly appointed with everything you need and nothing you don’t. Now that’s a concept we can all learn a little from!!
carrara concierge
Have you ever thought about using a concierge company? I know I didn’t! But then I met Linda and Gayle of Carrara Concierge and realized how brilliant this kind of service can be!!
If you want to save time, call Carrara. If you want to save money by getting it done right the first time, call Carrara. They can manage all your home and lifestyle requirements from home maintenance, event coordination, gift sourcing, errand services and much more. Not to mention that they give back! For every dollar spent, they give back a portion to the charity of your choice from their well rounded list.
So why not give it a try!! You won’t be disappointed with Linda and Gayle. They are so honest and sweet – they can take care of anyone!!! Even your miserable great uncle’s nephew’s brother!!
linen settee
A settee is so versatile for so many spaces and can fit almost anywhere. Consider one not only for your living room. How about: at the end of your bed; as seating on one side of your dining room table; in a hallway/foyer if you have the space; or even in your dressing room if you are lucky enough to have one!
Choose one in a natural linen or linen look for the ultimate in up-to-date fashion and versatility. And then don’t forget to layer the pillows!!
The above settees can be found at Crate & Barrel for the simple one, and the more indulgent gold one can be found at Elte.
little house in PEC
Ever since a visit to Prince Edward County several years ago, I was drawn to its quiet and charm and have gone back a few times. So now, after just selling a rental property that caused me grief, I’m seriously thinking of buying a ‘cottage’ in this area just for me! (well, for my family and friends too).
I searched the mls and found this ever so charming 100+ year old house with a yellow tin roof. I can hear the rain already. And all it needs is my own personal decorating touch.
I’ll probably contemplate for way too long and it will be sold, but I believe things are meant to be so when the snow melts a little I will venture out there and have a closer look. If a yellow tin roofed house is supposed to be in my life, this little house will be waiting. And it won’t be sorry.
