truck paintings – tori smith
I was at a client yesterday to help out with her home and was happy to discover she is an artist. Tori Smith, understood in her website here, is a lovely woman with a great talent. I was very impressed with her art and of course, because it’s me, chose to show her white truck painting because, well you know, I like white.
Wouldn’t this look just so perfect in a little boy’s room or a grown man’s “man cave”? Check out her site for all different colour trucks!
pink in my house
I am into pink these days. Thankfully my house is all painted white so I can inject it in small ways. The other day I was at Crate & Barrel and bought 95 cent tea light holders in pink – what a wonderful little treat! It’s just enough to inject this wonderful hue as it pulls from a painting I have that has all sorts of colours in it. And with a pillow I bought at Elte not long ago, it is all feeling oh so wonderfully rosy!
romantic bedrooms

Nothing says more romantic than a country inspired bedroom with layers of soft linens and tons of texture. Scroll through 71 amazing bedrooms on the Country Living website here for loads of inspiration.
pottery barn teen – colourful nightstands
Pottery Barn Teen (PBTeen) has these great nightstands that I think would look great in any space; for teenagers but also for grown-ups or kids! The colours are amazing and so perfect for Spring. I’m loving all the colours and since it is Pottery Barn, you know it’s going to be nice quality. Not sure on a colour? The white one can have colourful knobs added for easy switch up whenever you like. And of course, you know this goes with any Shabby Chic interior too!!
countertop makeovers
If you need a quick change for an old laminate countertop, check out Countertop Makeovers. It is environmentally friendly, quick, easy and affordable. What a great way to extend the life of your counters for a few more years!!
white kitchen
I found this gorgeous photo of a kitchen on someone’s blog, but they didn’t give credit to the person that designed it – wish they did because this is a small kitchen that rocks! It has all the wonderful elements of an up to date kitchen with rustic charm and definite longevity! I love the rustic floors to counter the smooth counters and white cabinets. The stainless appliances are timeless and the open shelves with limited uppers is just the right touch to keep it current and fresh. And for a tiny space, it packs loads of counter space! Well done to the person that designed and decorated this space – please come forward!
