some ‘ting’ is happening here
A store called ‘Ting‘.
While still in Stavanger, Norway, I naturally had to shop a little. When I passed this little store I just had to go in… awesome little accessories!
Here are their window displays – don’t you just love the colour combinations?!
Stavengar Norway gave me lots to dream about
While abroad this month, my first destination was to Stavanger, Norway. Every town we visited in Norway was beautiful and slightly different, but it was in Old Stavanger that I was most intrigued by the quaint little white houses on the winding cobblestone roads. Built in the 18th and 19th centuries, each house gave me reason to pause… and snap photos!
Here are a few of the shots I got, on a typically rainy day, of some charming doors and gardens. Makes me want to paint everything white and add more flowers to my own place!
Fjords
Off to the Fjords – see you here in a couple of weeks with, no doubt, some inspirational photos to share.
YouTube video on my website
A few months ago I thought it would be beneficial to have a video of me on my website. Well, at least that is what everyone was telling me I should think. So I finally did it! My talented nephew of FilmInToronto gave me his time to make this video of me. Check it out.
Just scroll down on the home page and you’ll see it. What do you think?
striped flooring
Mixed flooring, or alternating colours of flooring, seems to be a hot trend right now. Sarah 101 just showed it in a gorgeous kitchen she did on her show that aired yesterday. And I even pinned a great option on Pinterest last week.
It wasn’t that long ago that the striped area rug
seemed to be the big trend. But now it’s being shown as permanent flooring. I’m thinking this may be a short lived trend but who am I to really know. Do tell me what you think? Do you love this look or think it will look dated in no time?
