Habitat for Humanity - and the ReStore

Many of you may know of Habitat for Humanity for all of their amazing work building affordable homes for those in need. Their mission is awesome! So I also wanted to be sure you knew of their stores. Six in Toronto and even more throughout the GTA, not to mention all over Canada.

The stores are a great resource for donating your own unused household items to, but don't forget to check them out for possible purchases as well. You might find a gently used kitchen, an old mantel, some great windows or vintage lighting and they even have new things from overstocks and imperfections. Imagine, a place to shop where your purchases are amazing deals and help in so many ways!!

I had the privilege of meeting Mark Rodgers, President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity, at the IDS last week and when I told him I would blog about their efforts, he was thrilled.
