I went shopping for a backsplash with my client for her kitchen yesterday. She seemed to have fun, and I know I did! Not only is it exciting to see all the new tiles at the stores, but it's fun to create patterns and think about mixing from what is out there too. My client was left with a few options in the end that she wanted to sleep on. Naturally I had my favourite, but it's not my house so I could only advise. I know she'll go with what warms her heart of the ones we both loved. I'm still waiting to hear what she chose!

Finding amazing images on-line was fun for this post. I think the new backsplash is a lot more fun and daring than what we saw in the past - today, anything goes!
