Seems like this would be too narrow a subject to do a full blog on, with multiple images, but these images can prove that it really isn’t! Black, not really being a colour but rather the absence of colour, is actually quite easy to live with for this very reason. And it simply recedes, letting furniture, art and lighting really shine. I had to stop somewhere in adding images, but it was hard, as there were just so many great examples, as you can see for yourself here below.
